I think I finally understand.

I’ve been told recently that I was putting this one person not first in my life and that it hurt them. Well, I feel the same way about the same person, ironically. It definitely hurts, but it’s making me realize so much stuff, which alleviates the pain but also adds to it, if that makes sense. When it comes to relationships, boy, do I choose people that could and do truly hurt me.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, it’s time to listen to sad songs.
